Grand River Cottage
This preliminary design is for a full season retreat on a beautiful rural Ontario river site. The home aims to amplify the awareness of the environment, with captivating views of the fluctuating riverbank and careful but casual landscaping. Designed for avid canoers, the home focuses on outdoor activities like BBQing and sunset dining.
The cottage is a high-performance net zero energy design, with roof mounted 18kW Photovoltaic array, solar thermal hot water and Air Source Heat Pump for heating and cooling.
